What is a connected home? Any system that can connect to the internet or another system within the house. In essence, electricity makes your home connected.
Casa Stuart goes a step further when we look at systems like a Roomba, that while it doesn't use an internet connection it does use sensors to understand space.
My home and it's systems are all linked to a series of triggers that make things happen automatically.
Upon waking, lights, music and temperature are adjusted. If I'm anxious, talking loud, my lights soften. Spending too much time sitting still, fast music plays. The beautiful thing about Casa Stuart is how much technology you don't see.
Connected homes are not necessarily "smart homes".
Smart homes have books, people and love.
