Five years ago, the American economy was in a funk and perhaps, like hundreds of Americans, so was Chris Dancy. He had just turned 40, weighed 100 lbs (45 kgs approx.) more than what he does today and, though satisfactorily employed as the chief technology officer at a software firm, he was contemplating his place in modern society.
It wasn’t a long time ago when being connected to science and technology was just limited to science fictions. But now his has become a reality. When Google Glass was launched in 2013, everyone wanted their hands-on to that gadget. It enabled a new type of augmented reality where people can virtually see details and content in their field of view. Well, that was just a start of for-consumer-wearables.
